Hutchison Technologies new head office at 15 Luna Place, Dundee Technology Park, Dundee, DD2 1TP is beginning to take shape.
Hutchison Technologies have been helping customers to deliver bespoke member experiences across UK health, fitness and leisure clubs for over 25 years. In 2018, the company began renovations on existing premises at the city’s Technology Park.
The company’s new Head Office will enhance the company's existing capabilities providing larger and more modern work areas to support its increasing operations and business endeavours. Significant investment has been made in the refurbishment including; a complete interior fit out, advanced equipment test and production facilities and the addition of solar panels to the building’s roof providing a self-sufficient electricity source.
Bruce Hutchison, Managing Director, Hutchison Technologies, commented:
“The new building at Luna Place, Dundee Technology Park is a major investment in our operations to support our successful and growing business, providing much improved facilities for the development of our current solutions, scalability opportunities for our special projects, which includes medical training products and smart energy, and will provide a first-class work environment for our employees. We are aiming to be fully operational in the building by the beginning of 2020.”

Hutchison Technologies was founded in the City of Dundee as Link Telecom in 1991. Following a number of successful years as the preferred telecoms supplier for David Lloyd Leisure, the company added audio visual, data infrastructure and cabling, networking and access control to their technology solutions. As new club brands started to emerge and regenerate their technology solutions following the 90s technology boom, in June 1999 Hutchison Technologies moved to their current home in the city at the Innovation Centre on Harrison Road.
Today the company’s unrivalled solutions enhance the brand stories of health & fitness, hospitality & leisure and corporate spaces. The successful family entrepreneurship has international reach - encompassing design, research and development, manufacturing, services provision and supply chain management; following their founding desire to revolutionise engineered technologies. To support the company’s international operations, Hutchison Technologies also has a production facility in Dong Guan City, China.
